This One Argument About Anti-Discrimination Makes No Sense

As I mentioned briefly in my prior post, certain parts of the right-wing have tried to deal with the extreme unpopularity of saying all anti-discrimination laws are bad by triangulating some way to say the 1960s anti-discrimination laws were OK, but not any others. The problem is that the arguments to this effect, though rhetorically pleasing especially for those who really want to reach that conclusion, don't make a great deal of sense.
