For the last few months I've carried a bespoke "boo boo kit": an altoids-tin-form-factor collection of prep, bandages, salves, drugs, and tools to deal with the sort of scrapes and cuts one might encounter in every day life. I don't think I've used it myself, but I've regularly helped coworkers in a retail setting (grocery front end) with various simple maladies.

The contents of the boo-boo kit arranged neatly next to an open and empty tin, the specific contents as enumerated below.

Contents:

The key things are the alcohol wipes, bandages, and waterproof tape. The diphenhydramine has been useful. The dowel is mostly to hole the waterproof tape, but could also function as a finger-splint if needed.

The eye-glass repair kit is a recent addition, and I'm debating keeping it, but it's lightweight.

The tins themselves are from Adafruit.
